PlayStation has officially revealed two Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense wireless controllers, giving GTA fans new hardware designed specifically around the colors and atmosphere of Vice City.

Rather than simply placing the GTA VI logo on a standard DualSense, PlayStation has created two distinct designs representing Vice City during the day and at night.
The GTA VI White Limited Edition DualSense represents Vice City at daybreak, drawing inspiration from the city’s white beaches, pastel skies and relaxed coastal atmosphere.
The Black Limited Edition, meanwhile, represents Vice City’s nightlife, with darker colors combined with the neon aesthetic that has become one of GTA 6’s defining visual themes.
Both controllers feature a shimmering, color-shifting finish designed to combine the colors of a Vice City sunset with the glow of the city’s neon lights.
There are also custom palm tree details molded directly into the controllers, providing an additional tactile element alongside official Grand Theft Auto VI branding.
Black GTA 6 DualSense Will Be More Exclusive
There is an important difference between the availability of the two versions.
The White Limited Edition will be sold in limited quantities globally through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers.
The Black Limited Edition, however, will have more restricted availability. In regions where PlayStation Direct operates, Sony says the black controller will be available exclusively through PlayStation Direct, while select retailers will carry it in other regions.
This could potentially make the black version more difficult to obtain depending on where players live.
GTA 6 Will Take Advantage of DualSense Features
These controllers aren’t only cosmetic.
Sony says Grand Theft Auto VI will take advantage of the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, dynamically responding to gameplay and providing different levels of resistance depending on what is happening.
PlayStation previously explained that haptic feedback will provide responsive vibrations while adaptive triggers dynamically change resistance. The controller’s built-in speaker will also be used during certain interactions, accompanied by haptic effects.
The features are intended to make players physically feel more of Jason and Lucia’s journey through Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
GTA 6 DualSense Price and Pre-Order Date
Both Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense controllers will launch starting November 19, 2026, the same day GTA 6 releases. Rockstar’s official website continues to list that date for the game.
